Busiku Hamainza

Dr. Hamainza is a Zambian national with a PhD in Tropical Medicine and extensive experience in the field of malaria elimination. He has held verious positions in the National Malaria Elimination Centre and the Ministry of Health in zambia. His work includes a wide range if topics related to malaria control and research, including integrated malaria control, community case management a, malaria treatment, monitoring and evaluation, vector control, and the major impact of interventions. he ha collaborated with organizations such as the Global Fund, Presidents Malaria Initiative, World Health Organization, Partners for Malaria Free Zambia, Gates Foundation, PATH, JC Flowers Foundation, Tropical Disease Research Centre and African Leaders Malria Alliance on program evaluation, strategic planning and cross-border collaborations in malaria control. Dr. Hamainza has attended numerous conferences, workshops, trainings and meetings related to malaria control and elimination and has presented papers and engaged with carious partners and donors on malaria programming support. Overall, his work demonstrates s strong commitment to malaria control and research in Zambia and contributes to the global efforts to combat malaria.
